Latest News

I was very pleased to donate a painting to an online auction (organised by @reclaimthesestreets) to raise funds for groups promoting women's safety.  My little painting of Battersea Park lake can be seen on my Landscape page.

After returning from the Paint Out Norfolk 2021 plein air event, I have posted images of most of my paintings from there on social media.  However I have put one of them, a panoramic view towards West Newton Church from the Sandringham Estate, on my Landscape page instead.  I will add other Norfolk paintings to my website; they should include those from a more recent, shorter trip to the area around Wells-next-the-Sea.

I have many other paintings to get on with and will continue to share images on social media.  Currently I have two pictures in Chelsea Art Society's exhibition in a gallery space at 340 King's Road, sponsored by Sloane Stanley Estate.  One of these - Evening Impressions, Chelsea Embankment - can be seen at the bottom of my Urban Scenes page.

Since 2012 I have had more time to produce work, which people often and kindly describe as beautiful.  It is always based on direct observation and learnt drawing skills.  There is a bit more about me, my work and prizes I have won on my Contact page.
